More About Julian
I started work at Bikes of Inverness in 2016...
Hello there. I am Julian Innes who is one of the part time members of staff. I work through the front shop as I am not to be trusted with any of the tools!
I started work at Bikes of Inverness in 2016 having retired from the Police after thirty years of public service.
I am relatively new to cycling having gone and bought a road bike to take part in the Bealach Mor, after making a commitment during a few glasses of red in 2006. I am not a racer, but love riding a bike for fun, exercise and general well being. Working here is not really like work, more of a social club as I get to know regular customers.
I have organised and taken part in six charity cycles over a number of days so if you have an event in mind then give me a shout.

I enjoying talking to folk about bikes, picking up a few tips and passing some on
I currently ride a Trek Emonda on the road and a Trek Checkpoint gravel bike off road. Both are comfortable bikes.
I have recently added a Trek Allant E Bike to the fleet. All the family use it and it is brilliant. If you have not ridden an Ebike, you need to try the shop demo.
When not cycling I am in Bannatyne gym or on the golf course.
